EU-parlamentet om terrorattacken i Norge

Redan i lördags gjorde min kollega i ALDE-gruppen, Pat the Cope Gallagher, följande uttalande med anledning av det fruktansvärda illdådet i Oslo.

Pat är ordförande i EU-parlamentets Norge-delegation, där jag själv är suppleant.
Också parlamentets talman Jerzy Bucek har uttryckt sin stora sorg och medkänsla med det norska folket.
- Jag fördömer å det starkaste dessa fega attacker mot oskyldiga ungdomar, säger Buzek.

Cope Gallagher extends his condolences ,on behalf of the European Parliament/Norway delegation, to the Norwegian Mission to the EU , following the tragedies that took place last night on Utoya island and in Oslo city centre.

Cope Gallagher extends his condolences ,on behalf of the European Parliament/Norway delegation, to the Norwegian Mission to the EU , following the tragedies that took place last night on Utoya island and in Oslo city centre. He has also spoken with his counterpart Ine Erikson Soreide MP Chair of the Norway delegation and expressed to her the delegation members deepest sympathy.

Pat the Cope Gallagher MEP, the chairperson of the European Parliament delegation that deals with political relations with Norway sent his his condolences this morning following the truly horrific tragedies that took place on Utoya Island and in Oslo city last night.

Pat the Cope Gallagher MEP said that " my thoughts and prayers are with the families and friends of the people who were so brutally killed and injured. The killings that took place on Utoya island happened at a political gathering of young people who both cherished and promoted democracy- a value that we all must seek to protect at all times".
